NASCAR Returns to Road America
Elkhart Lake's Road America has announced a NASCAR Nationwide race on June 19th, 2010. The scheduled Chicago Region SCCA June Sprints will be moved to a week later. This is a huge move for Road America and congrats go out to the staff up there for this move.I expect big things from this, and it adds to the great lineup of racing at the 4 Miles of Fun.

Does this mean GrandAM is going to be a ladder series for NASCAR Nationwide?

Im going to watch this race just to see how many crew cheifs miscalculate gas mileage for a 4 mile track and cause mayhem. theres no other good reason to watch Nascar at Elkart. at least they haven't invaded cleveland airport

There is a very good reason for NASCAR drivers to race at Elkhart. These drivers in the last few years have become more well rounded in types of racing and Road America is a great course to learn on. I know that when I pick up the Monday paper and see that a NASCAR driver did well on a road course, I'm thrilled.
