Default Danica To Run Nationwide At Daytona

Danica Patrick has decided to run in the Nationwide Series race at Daytona this Saturday, Feb. 13th at 1pm. The race is the Drive4COPD 300. Danica will use the points gained by Brad Keselowski in the #88 car for JR Motorsports last year to guarantee her starting spot. She will make the official announcement today (Monday).

I am really eager to see how she does against a better crop of drivers.

She shwed in her ARCA debut that she drives a stock car more aggressively and at least as well as she does an Indy car. However, she also looked to be the equal or superior in talent to any of the ARCA drivers.

I want to see how she does against the Nationwide and Cup drivers. That will be a better indication of how long it will take her to move to the top of the NASCAR roster.

I hate to see her leave Indy, but i bet after her AA contract expires, she is gone. She seems much more at ease in a tintop.
