no worse than the dallara's.
I don't understand the open engine
they should just use the car that they make for the Japan series (F3)?

I quite like the second option, the one with a more regular, swooping front wing...If they can make it look as good as their Formula Nippon car, we are on a winner.

Casper Van der Schoot, Swift's director of motorsports said. “IndyCar fans love to see the engines and mechanical bits normally shielded behind bodywork. These concepts incorporate retro‐styling cues that harken to the '50s, '60s and '70s Indy car eras. Our wind tunnel tests have shown the engine cover has very little effect on aerodynamics compared to most other components on the car. We saw an opportunity to showcase the engine and other ‘jewelry' while preserving efficiency with a much smaller fairing.”

So far, most of these cars looks as if they've been designed by Mattel and I'm not sure if that is a good thing or not.

It's just too bad they're only going to choose one.

Maybe they should let Mattel design a car - be interesting to see what they come up with...

I still reckon that they could go with 4 car designs being available. They just have to cap prices and and car counts for each, have the same car for many years and parity the situation and it could work, while being cost effective.

The car designs are so-so, but I am intrigued by the 'mushroom buster' & the 'Swift lights'. My understanding is that the lights are used on Formula Nippon cars. Has anyone seen them?
