My bid to race for USF1....

I've never asked you guys for monetary contributions, but I'd like to break that stance in order to pursue a very special opportunity....

I'd like to race for USF1, though I'd settle for Campos.

We just need to raise $5 million for the 2010 season.

Today, I've begun training to drive for USF1 in the official PaddockTalk F1 simulator specially designed for the Wii.

Blamo, as much as I appreciate the offer, my primary goal is to drive for my country. But do proceed, I may need to gain more experience before I can land such a top ride.

Petrov is bringing $21 mil, hopefully he'll go to Renault so I can still get the USF1 seat for $5 mil.

Insighter, if you know where TG is getting his backing from for his new series, maybe they will have the spare $5 million to help an American F1 driver ?

That should be enough for Renault, who basically have no sponsors, and if I carried that much cash I'd want an ownership share of a minnow team, considering it's one-third of their budgets.

USF1 has no shot at this guy Mike - your seat should be safe. Tell 'em you've got this hugely popular website and folks with google ad sense paying the way it's click now and click often if you want to put a ride-buying yank in a US car.

BTW, have you considered Greg Mansell's fund raising effort to bring budget (divide your race suit into 100,000 spaces and sell 'em at $100 a shot for the whole season. If you do this well enough you could be driving the Rent-A-Wreck/Al's Towing/Joe's Salvage/Tom's Used Cars/New Flyer Bus/Mona's Coffee Shop/Bicycles R Us/Some Homeless Guy Special before you know it).

Even if I lose a bit of weight, the chassis is going to need a bit of a modification. I'm trying to keep Windsor unaware of the particular detail.
