This is my first post so let me introduce myself. I am a big car nut. I moderate another car forum on the Internet but there is very little racing content on it other than F1 - of which I am the primary source.
My main passion is Formula 1 but I dabble in all forms of racing. If it makes a loud noise and moves fast, I probably love it (does not apply to women!). I am an intellectual property attorney by trade and own my own law office. I love all sports - especially Angels Baseball - and spending time with my family. I have a couple of rides myself. First is a 2007 BBI Stage II Porsche Turbo. Second is a 2004 Ferrari 360 Modena which is bone stock for now. I also have a Ducati Monster 696 bike. I am excited about contributing to the site. This past weekend my son and I went to the ALMS race at Long Beach. It was a great day of racing. We sat at the hairpin turn and I shot a lot of stills and some video with my Nikon D90. Below is a link to my video and picture site (no ads and no revenue - just a place I put my photos and videos). It takes you directly to a montage video I produced of some race footage put to music called "The Hairpin". I hope that you guys like it. Downforce Media - "The Hairpin" Feel free to explore my site - Downforce Media - Cars Section. Let me know if you like what you see. Below are a couple of pics of my personal cars and bike. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Welcome to the forums!!
Don't know if anyone told you, but it is customary for new members to donate one of their vehicles to the first person who welcomes them. You pick; I drool about as much over all of them. The video was excellent. Good choice of seats, from the looks of it: two turns (including the 35 mph hairpin) plus the start of the straight. Hope you attend a lot more races. |
